As Laurel looks to "Open Doors for God's People" there are four areas that need to be addressed.
1. Open the second floor central stairwell platform between the Parlor and Education buildings making an expanded opening for easier and safer passage between the two buildings.
2. Enlarge our fellowship space and relocate the kitchenette to better serve the congregation.
3. Replace the 51 year old glass doors and windows separating the Parlor and Sanctuary with wood framed doors that can be fully opened for Easter, Christmas, or other special services and events requiring additional space.
4. Replace the 50 year old boiler functioning at 60% efficiency with one more efficient. It will include replacing two heating/cooling units in the Parlor and Sr. High classroom. The new unit will be 95% efficient.
Laurel is “Opening Doors for God’s People”. The Laurel congregation is invited to join together in making sacrificial gifts for the next three years. These gifts will help continue Laurel’s mission.
Once again the people of Laurel are called on to respond to God's love and grow our ministry by giving not equal gifts, but equal sacrifice.
