Welcome to the ‘Open Laurel Doors’ segment of our website. I’m thrilled to share with you another key movement to expand the influence and ministry of our Laurel Church family. For well over a century Laurel United Methodist Church has invited and welcomed people to be a part of God’s mission in Springfield and around the world. We are ready for “Opening Doors for God’s People” through a continuing renovation of our Parlor and Sanctuary entrances, as well as improving our heating system with a new boiler.
Look closely at the information included here to find details about the “Opening Doors for God’s People” capital stewardship campaign and how it will better help us welcome people in the name of Christ. We are excited about improving our facilities for safety, ease of movement and fellowship.
I want to thank you for all you are already doing for our mission and ministry at Laurel Church. Our mission and ministry are always concerned with people, inviting, welcoming and connecting people with God and with one another. The “Opening Doors for God’s People” capital stewardship campaign will enable us to further fulfill our calling as God’s gracious, inviting and caring people.
